At the Olympic Peninsula Humane Society, We do our best to help when a Pet is lost or found

If you have found a pet or stray Cat or Dog in Clallam County, the Olympic Peninsula Humane Society recommends that you attempt to find the owner. This done be done various ways such as going to a local Veterinarian or Shelter and seeing if the Animal has a microchip or Posting pictures of them online or putting up flyers in town where allowed with any info you have on them.

We also recommend you check out PawBoost.com. PawBoost allows you to post Lost & Found animals online, Pawboost also creates posters automatically and makes them available to Shelters like us thru email. Listing a Lost/Found pet on Pawboost is free, But they do have fees for using their Social Media Advertising. OPHS regularly checks Pawboost for new listings.

If you are able to care for the animal while searching for its owner, the Olympic Peninsula Humane Society can assist you with supplies you may need. This helps us greatly and will keep the animal off the streets while searching for its owner.
